This notice explains how TruSight uses AI, OCR, search, transcription, document analysis, optional registry lookups, optional legal-record screening, and related tools. It forms part of the Terms and Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose
Outputs assist your review; they do not replace judgment. Different axes answer different questions and are not merged into one universal score.
2. What may be processed
Text, screenshots, images, video files or supported links, OCR text, PDFs and Word files, audio or voice notes, transcripts from videos or user-initiated recordings, share-sheet content, URLs, and limited file metadata — only when you submit them.
3. Evidence and scoring
Different submissions use different assessment paths. For claim investigations, the Evidence Engine gathers, grades, and selects the evidence packet; advocates and the judge own the score and use only that selected packet. If the Evidence Engine admits no on-claim evidence, the packet may be empty rather than padded with weak material. Message Trust, media, voice, document, identity, and product checks use the signals and structured checks relevant to their own axis.
4. Trust rings and scores
Rings and bands are algorithmic estimates. They are not statements of fact, legal findings, or guarantees. A high ring does not make information true. A low ring does not make it false. Methodology may change.
5. Footage, voice, and media signals
Authenticity scores are not forensic reports. Failure to flag manipulation does not prove authenticity; a flag does not prove fraud and is not a verdict about a person in a clip.
Voice and audio checks may use transcription and authenticity signals. They do not identify a speaker through biometric voice recognition.
6. Documents and IDs
OCR, classification, format checks, and optional issuer-registry lookups may run. Missing coverage is incompleteness, not proof of fake. Outputs are not DigiLocker, NAD, KYC, or legal proof.
Legal-record screening, where configured on identity checks, uses name and address only — not ID numbers or images — and does not change authenticity bands. Hits are reported proceedings, not guilt. Empty ≠ no records in India.
TruSight does not perform face matching, liveness checks, or biometric identification.
7. Message and URL signals
Heuristics and URL reputation lookups (such as Google Web Risk, if used) are informational. They are not a guarantee that a message is safe or fraudulent.
8. External processing and your choice
A requested check may send the necessary submission or extracted material to model, search, OCR, transcription, media-analysis, registry, legal-record, or URL-reputation providers. TruSight presents the relevant processing notice or permission where required before that transfer. Do not start the check if you do not want the submitted material processed in this way.
9. Errors
Models can hallucinate, OCR can misread, sources can conflict. Independently verify before you act.
10. Sherlock
Capture is opt-in after explicit action and OS permission. We do not continuously record your screen.
11. Data handling summary
Short-lived analysis jobs ordinarily expire within 24 hours. The de-identified, non-account-linked Truth Vault retains entries for up to 30 days. Security and abuse logs controlled by us are ordinarily retained for up to 30 days. Local history and your cloud backups remain under your control.
12. Sharing results and feedback
A result-share link can be opened by anyone who has it. New links expire after 7 days and may be revoked sooner. Result feedback may contain a limited result identifier, score, headline, category, app information, and optional comment. It is retained until the issue is closed and never longer than 90 days.
