TruSight is operated by Smitten Co., trading as Smitten Technologies. You can delete your account and associated personal data controlled by us. This public request URL will remain available.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — From the app
While signed in, open Settings → Request account & data deletion. Review the warning and confirm the authenticated deletion request. If the request cannot be completed in the app, use email below.
Option 2 — Email
Send an email to info@smitten.co.in from your registered email address.
If you signed in with a phone number only, include your full phone number in the message.
Subject line: TruSight account deletion request
Include:
- The email address or phone number used to sign in
- A brief statement that you want your account and personal data deleted
What we delete
After verifying your identity, we delete:
- Your Firebase authentication account
- Backend profile data linked to your user ID
- Push / Live Activity device tokens linked to your account
- Result-share links associated with your account
- Short-lived analysis job records linked to your account
- Feedback that can reasonably be identified as yours and is not required for an active issue or legal obligation
What we may retain
- Security, fraud-prevention, and abuse-prevention records for up to 30 days, or longer only for an active investigation or legal obligation
- Information needed to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes
- Truth Vault entries: de-identified, content-keyed, not account-linked, and retained for up to 30 days. Account deletion may not identify these entries, so they expire automatically.
Analysis job records and staged submissions ordinarily expire within 24 hours. Result-share links expire after 7 days unless revoked sooner. Feedback is retained until its issue is closed and never longer than 90 days.
Third-party registries
Document and ID checks may send identifiers or prepared images to registry, verification, OCR, or model providers. Those providers may retain records under applicable law and their policies. We assist with deletion where our contracts allow. Legal-record providers receive name and address only — never ID numbers or document images — but may retain search logs under their own policies.
Device-local history and your cloud backups
Deleting your account does not automatically wipe:
- Analysis history stored on your device — clear it in Settings
- Encrypted backups in your iCloud or Google Drive — delete those from your cloud account
Processing time
An authenticated in-app request is processed as soon as the systems respond. Verified email requests are ordinarily completed within 30 days. We will tell you if applicable law permits or requires more time.
