A claim can be true and the clip still fake.
Video gets two separate reads: one score for the claim being made, and one for the footage itself. That is why a result can say Verified and AI Generated at the same time, instead of hiding one answer behind the other.

Our intended practice is not to retain full raw submissions after processing. Anonymised result summaries may be cached for up to 30 days to answer repeat checks.

Frequently asked
Is TruSight free?
The app is free to download and there are no ads in the current version. Some heavier checks may be limited or offered as paid features in future; anything that changes will be shown in the app before you use it.
Does TruSight read my WhatsApp messages?
No. TruSight has no access to your chats. It only sees the text, screenshot, link or clip that you choose to submit for a check.
Can it be wrong?
Yes. TruSight is an AI-assisted research tool, not an authority. It can miss context, misread an image or rely on a source that is itself wrong. That is exactly why every result lists its sources — read them before you act on a verdict, especially on health, legal, financial or safety matters.
What does the document check actually prove?
Nothing on its own. It gives you a structured estimate — likely issued, unconfirmed, or altered and inconsistent — based on what is visible in the file and what could be looked up. It is not legal proof of authenticity and should not be used as the sole basis for denying someone housing, employment or credit.
Which languages are supported?
The app ships in 19 languages, including Hindi, Hinglish, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi, alongside English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Do I need an account?
You can try a check without setting anything up. Signing in lets your history and preferences follow you, and gives you a way to request deletion of account-linked data.
Is my screen being recorded in the background?
No. Screen capture is optional, off by default, and runs only after you start it and grant the system permission for that session. There is no continuous recording.
